How often should I wash my hands?
In short, the answer will depend on the situation. If in doubt, wash your hands.
If at home, and there is no traffic to the outside (public spaces), then there should be little reason to wash more than what is considered hygenic.
If at home, and there is traffic to the outside (public spaces), then washing of hands, disinfecting, washing of clothes worn outside, and other preventative measures may be needed.
Out in public, try to avoid contact with objects used by the general public (doors, elevator buttons, etc). However, since this is life and sometimes we need to go out (for example, being part of essential services), then there is a few things we can do.
1) Disinfect surfaces. It seems alcohol wipes (60% - 70%) appear to be effective against the virus
2) Use gloves, paper, or some means of medium to avoid direct contact. Then properly clean or discard medium.
3) Wash hands thoroughly after use of item.
As of now, there are no indications that COVID-19 will lessen due to temperatures in which large populations of people live. The virus seems to spread just as easily in regions experiencing warmer weather as those countries experiencing cooler weather.
There are many factors that go into determining a patient's recovery time (inoculation, age, comorbidities, immune response, treatments, etc). Additionally, the information presented only considers those who have been confirmed to have had the illness. As of now, many will take 2 - 3 weeks to recover, and others make take as much as 6 weeks.
Additionally, many patients are recovering with potential permanent damage to lungs (from pneumonia) and other organs.
Right now, we do not know. In the reported cases where there could have been reinfection, a lot of testing must be conducted to rule out other possibilities such as false positives in testing, latent virus infections from the original infection, and etc. As of now, all we know is that there are reports of people who have appeared to have recovered becoming sick with the Coronavirus again. The when, how, where, and why still need to be answered. There are a few sources to possible reinfections. However, more information and confirmation is necessary.
